According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), monsoon conditions are expected to remain active across Gujarat today. Light to moderate rainfall is likely in many parts of North Gujarat, Central Gujarat, Saurashtra, and South Gujarat, while some areas may experience heavy to very heavy rainfall. Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and strong winds are also expected in several districts.


A weather warning has been issued for districts including Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Junagadh, and Porbandar due to the possibility of heavy rainfall. Residents in low-lying areas are advised to remain cautious, as waterlogging may occur.
